The foundation is built on croots, sure, but Mario's top-ranked class is still mostly freshmen. Those three returning starters are good, but the right side of that line had issues in pass pro all year. The playcalling absolutely matters because it puts those guys in position. If you're just running power into a stacked box because you think your line is elite, smarter defenses will eat that up. The pipeline to the recruiting class is a future thing, not a current red zone fix. You need scheme to create leverage and easy throws, not just maul people. Their red zone offense looked predictable at times, and that's on the coaches to diversify. Relying solely on line push is how you get stuffed on 4th and goal from the one.
