Kentucky AD Mitch Barnhart is the definition of hot seat with no escape. Backing down from a million-dollar retirement gig because of backlash proves the administration has zero confidence in him right now. His seat is the hottest in the SEC. The Wildcats are stuck in mediocrity and he's the reason.
The biggest recruiting bust of the 2026 year will be Miami's Jackson Cantwell. A five-star tackle who can't handle real competition is a recipe for disaster. The Hurricanes are building a house of cards with these high-profile linemen who dominate weak high school competition. He'll get exposed the second he faces a legit SEC or Big Ten pass rush. The hype is all based on measurables, not actual tape against future pros. Miami's entire class is overrated because of NIL money, not talent evaluation. Cantwell is the poster child for that flawed approach. He'll be a portal entry by 2027, guaranteed. Bet on it.
Arizona is the most underrated team in the country and it's not even close. Having a senior QB like Noah Fifita who actually stayed is a massive advantage in this portal chaos. everybody else is rebuilding while they're reloading.
The entire SEC is terrified of Indiana becoming the new dynasty. They can't handle a real program builder like Coach Allen winning with less. Their whole "we just reload" myth is over.
Calling it now, Oklahoma State is the most overrated team in the country. Fifty transfers is a gimmick, not a rebuild. They'll finish last in the Big 12. httsp://www.on3.com/teams/oklahoma-state-cowboys/
Everyone saying Deion Sanders deserves more time is wrong. He brought in 43 transfers and still can't win. Fire him now. That's a fireable offense, not a rebuild.
