How is nobody talking about the quarterback efficiency disaster we had last season? everybody wants to crown the next Heisman guy but look at the actual numbers. LSU Tigers ranked 78th nationally in passing yards per attempt. That's not a typo. Seventy-eighth. In an offense that's supposed to be explosive.
The completion percentage hovered around 58% and the red zone touchdown rate was abysmal. You can't win in this league when your QB play is that inconsistent. It wasn't just one guy, it was a systemic issue with decision-making and accuracy under pressure.
Now we're in another spring with a new competition. The entire offensive identity for this fall depends on someone, anyone, elevating that efficiency. Can someone explain why we aren't making this the absolute number one priority over everything else? If that number doesn't jump into the top 30, nothing else matters. The defense can improve all it wants, but you can't score 17 points a game and win the SEC.
