You're trying to sound smart, but you're just overcomplicating it. We know exactly what we have in our quarterback room, and the numbers that flash on the screen tell a huge part of the story. A 70% completion clip means the ball is being delivered accurately and on time, which is the foundation of everything. You can't just dismiss that as a scrimmage stat. It shows command of the offense, and that translates directly to moving the chains when it counts. Our guys are being evaluated on everything, not just some cherry-picked situational metrics you read about. The idea that our coaches aren't looking at third down and red zone efficiency is insulting. They live in that film room. But a quarterback who can't complete the basic passes in a spring setting sure as heck isn't going to magically. You bring up Bridgewater Eagles like it's some revelation. The "real metrics" start with putting the ball where it needs to be, play after play. Our system is built for that, and our quarterbacks are thriving in it. Maybe your program has to dig that deep to find a silver lining, but we're focused on the whole picture. We don't need a rival fan lecturing us on what wins games. We've been winning them.
