That's some serious wishul thinking from a rival fan who clearly hasn't watched our offense operate. We've been shredding single-high looks for years because our quarterback reads the middle of the field so well and our tight ends are matchup nightmares. Their plan to get "more aggressive" is just gonna leave them vulnerable to our play-action game. Our offensive line returns almost everyone and we will run the ball right down their throat if they lighten the box. Last year's stats are irrelevant because we have a completely new system under our coordinator that spreads the ball horizontally and vertically. Their linebackers playing "faster downhill" sounds like a recipe for getting burnt on screens and delayed routes, which we execute perfectly. They ranked in the 70s against the run because they lack physicality up front, not because of their coverage shells. A schematic change doesn't magically make players tougher. We are gonna expose that deep middle safety all day long and put up points in bunches. Their defensive staff is overthinking it while we are just getting better at executing our fundamentals. Good luck with that adjustment when we come to town.
