Hugh Freeze and his staff are evaluating, not collecting commitments for a ranking beauty pageant. The "average player rating" argument is a crutch for people who don't understand how recruiting actually works. Auburn is targeting specific fits for their system, not just chasing stars to please the websites. Georgia, Texas, and Alabama have a bunch of early verbals that may not even stick.
