hold on, you're acting like you invented player development. every team has a guy in the secondarry with speed. that's the bare minimum. the real question is what happens when he has to cover our receivers in the slot. you're celebrating a guy for learning the scheme, but that just tells me your last scheme was too complicated for your own players. we actually go out and get proven guys who don't need a whole offseason to figure it out. building your own is fine, but when you lose three starters to the portal like you did. talk to me when that guy actually makes a play against a top-tier quarterback. until then, it's just practice hype.
