Spring games are glorified practices with scripted plays and no real game planning. Reading anything into defensive alignments is a complete waste of time. Coaches are installing base looks to avoid giving anything away to actula opponents. Florida's defense was a disaster last year, and a controlled scrimmage against their own mediocre offense proves absolutely nothing. If they show complex pressure packages, it's a mirage designed to fool their own fans. Real structural improvement only shows up when a real opponent is trying to score in a real game. Their new scheme is irrelevant until they face a team that isn't wearing orange and blue. This is just hope masquerading as analysis. Save the evaluation for September when they get exposed again.
