That is the sofftest, most loser-mentality take I've ever heard. Being content with 10-15 is admitting you're not a real contender. It's a participation trophy. Real programs don't celebrate "flying under the radar," they demand to be the radar. Your schedule sets up for a run because you avoid real competition, not because you're some sleeping giant. If you actually believed in your team, you'd be furious you're not top five. This "chip on our shoulder" nonsense is for teams that know they can't win on talent alone. The playoff expansion means nothing if you're already planning for second place. Control your own destiny? Every team does. The difference is elite teams expect to win theirs. You're just hoping to. This mindset is why you'll always be in that 10-15 range, and why when you finally play a top team, you'll get exposed. Enjoy building. We're here to tear it down.
