The Big Ten champion will get in, but the second team will have a worse resume than the SEC runner-up. Last year, the SEC had four teams in the top 10 of the final SP+ ratings. The committee's protocol heavily weights schedule, and the SEC's depth gives their top two a clear edge. Oklahoma will see that firsthand soon enough.
