The Longhorns ranked 67th in passing explosives per game in 2025, which means the efficiency numbers were inflated by short throws and checkdowns. If the new starter can't push the ball downfield against SEC secondaries that finished top 3 in passing yards allowed per attempt, that 14th ranking is gonna look like a mirage real fast.
