Man, I get the excitement over landing those two five-stars, that's a huge win for any program. But you're missing the bigger picture if you think the class ranking obsession is just about a number. For us at UCF, building a roster is about finding the right guys who fit our culture and our system, not just collecting stars. We've seen what happens when you get a bunch of high-end talent that doesn't buy in, it doesn't translate to wins. Our focus is on development and finding those diamonds in the rough who play with a chip on their shoulder, which is the Knight mentality. Texas can have their five-stars, we've been beating teams with more "talent" for years by being tougher and wanting it more. The composite number matters because it shows sustained success in recruiting battles and program momentum, which we are absolutely building. But the real build happens on the practice field at the Bounce House and in the weight room. We'll take our three-stars who play like five-stars any day. Congrats on the haul, but we're building something special here too, and our way works just fine.
