You're overthinking this to an insane degree. The new QB is a stud, period. Those numbers from last year weren't in some cupcake league, they were against real competition. The idea that Miami's previous QB struggles are somehow a predictor for this guy's failure is lazy. He's a different caliber of player entirely. The offensive line is better, the weapons are better, and the coaching is more aggressive. Yards per attempt is a useless stat if you're just dinking and dunking. This guy pushes the ball downfield. The ACC defenses are a joke compared to what he faced week in and week out last season. The Heisman hype is real because he's a game-changer, not a system product. Miami finally has a quartebrack who can win them games they have no business winning. The "ecosystem" talk is just a cope for fans whose teams don't have a transcendent talent under center. He's gonna torch the league and make this take look foolish by October.
