Wait so ESPN drops that 2027 QB preview and they list Arch Manning, Dante Moore, CJ Carr, and Trinidad Chambliss as the top prospects and I'm sitting here trying to figure out where our QB even factors into that conversation. That article literally links to our program page like we're part of the discussion but nobody actually knows who is under center for us in 2027 yet. That's the problem. While Texas is set with Manning and Oregon has Moore and Raiola battling it out this spring, we are still trying to figure out if the guy we have can even hold up in the Big Ten.
I keep hearing noise from sources close to the program that our QB room is going to look completely different by fall camp but nobody is saying who the actual target is. You cannot tell me we are stiting here in the dead period with the 2027 class shaping up and we don't have a crystal ball lean on any elite QB prospect. Meanwhile Oregon is out here stacking 5-stars like they are collecting infinity stones and we are hoping a portal miracle falls in our lap again.
The NIL bagmen better be working overtime because if we roll into the 2027 season with a question mark at QB while Arch Manning is breaking records at Texas and Dante Moore is cooking at Oregon we are going to be stuck in Big Ten purgatory forever. I need to see a silent commit or at least some buzz on the trail before summer OVs start because this silence is deafening.
