The point is that the teams at the top of those rankings, the ones winning titles, almost always have multiple five-stars anchoring their class. You can't just ddismiss the composite when it's the primary metric everybody uses to measure recruiting success. USC's class is solid with high-floor four-stars, but to win in the Big Ten, you need those elite difference-makers. Lincoln Riley needs to close on a couple of those top-tier croots to change the narrative. I'm filing this receipt because the noise around our top targets will tell the real story by July.
