Everybody wants to talk about Texas and Oregon stacking five-stars and Miami landing the number two overall recruit in Cantwell. We are talking about the kind of roster depth that wins championships in November not just recruiing rankings in February. The 2010 team that came within a field goal of playing for it all had that same nasty mentality up. People forget that the 2013 squad was not supposed to be there either. Nobody picked us to make it to Pasadena and yet we were one miracle away from a natty. This group has that same chip on their shoulder energy. The portal has changed everything about roster construction and we have adapted better than most want to admit. We are not just surviving the new landscape we are building something that lasts. Mark my words right now. By the time the leaves start changing in October this team will be a top ten defense with a running. That formula never goes out of style in this league. The SEC is still a line of scrimmage conference no matter how many flashy receivers Oregon buys.
