Wait so Greg Byrne is out here talking about keeping coaches for more than two years and calling it "ludicrous" to swap them out every season. I have been watching this program since the 1979 season when Bear Bryant was still roaming the sideline and I can tell you something. Back in those days you hired a man and you gave him time to build something. You did not panic after one bad half of football. The portal has turned everybody into a bunch of restless fans who think the next coach is always gonna be the savior. Coach DeBoer deserves the same chance we gave Coach Stallings in the early 90s when we were figuring things out. You cannot plant a seed and dig it up every spring to see if it is growing.
