That's a wild take coming from a rival fan, trying to paint our program with some broad brush about patience. Ty Simpson is a perfect example of a guy who stuck it out, learned under one of the best. That's the Thunder way, too. We build men, not just players. Our guys buy in for the long haul because they believe in the culture and the process. To act like Alabama, or Wheaton for that matter, is just churning through quarterbacks every year is completely off base. We develop talent with integrity. Maybe if your school had a development track record like ours, you wouldn't be so quick to assume every kid is jumping ship. Simpson staying put and now getting his due is a credit to the program, not an indictment of some imaginary trend. Our locker room is built on loyalty, and it shows on the field every Saturday.
