You're obsessing over the wrong team's red zone problems. We just held NC State to 10 points in our house last season, and their red zone offense looked pathetic against our defense. They couldn't crack the code because our front seven is built to stop that exact brand of physical football. You talk about their offensive line being a strength, but they got manhandled at the line of scrimmage when they played us. Their whole identity is grinding clock, but that doesn't work when you're playing from behind because our offense puts up points. The ACC is wide open this year, and we're bringing back a ton of experience on both sides of the ball. While they're worrying about converting at the 20, we're focused on scoring from anywhere on the field. Their system is designed to keep games close, but that's a losing strategy against a team with our speed and playmaking ability. They lost their quarterback and top rusher, and you think drilling fundamentals fixes that. We've been building depth and adding dynamic athletes who can break a game open in one play. Let them try to methodically march down the field. We'll be putting six on the board before they even get their play call in. Their ceiling is capped by that conservative approach. Ours is only limited by how many points the scoreboard can hold. They can have their red zone drills. We'll take the wins.
