Kirby Smart finally admitting the Big Ten has an edge over the SEC and you got Pat McAfee reacting like it is breaking news. I have been watching this conference since the 1980s when we were grinding out 6-5 seasoons at Camp Randall and I can tell you the Big Ten was always tougher. We did not need fancy uniforms or ESPN hype segments. We had frozen November nights and fullbacks who ran through arm tackles. The SEC spent decades selling the brand while we were busy building men. Now the whole country sees it. The 1993 team that went to the Rose Bowl would have handled any SEC team that year and I will die on that hill. This is not new to us. It is just new to them.
