Everybody talking about Oregon and their QB battle or Indiana trying to reload after that title run and nobody wants. I look at our linebacker room and I see something we haven't had since the days when we used to. The physicality is coming back to the middle of our defense and it is about time. We lost some guys to the draft sure every program did but the depth we are developing in the front seven is real. The summer workouts have these guys flying around and you can tell the staff emphasized gap integrity and pursuit angles. We are NOT just relying on one star player to make every tackle anymore. The scheme is designed for everyone to get to the ball and that is how you win in this league. The Baylor game is going to be a statement for what this defense can do. They think they can come into Jordan-Hare and run their offense? They have no idea what is waiting for them. We are going to set the tone early and make them earn every single yard. This is the most complete defense we have fielded in years and I am tired of people sleeping on it.
