Leaving out the Big Ten and SEC entirely is a wild take. We're talkig about the two deepest conferences in the sport. Ohio State is in the Big Ten, so that part of the prediction contradicts itself anyway. Miami hasn't proven they can win the ACC, let alone make a playoff in that format. I don't see a path where both power conferences get shut out, especially with their automatic bids. This feels like wishful thinking from someone whose team isn't in that top tier conversation.
