Look at Colorado last year, they completely overhauled their roster and while the record wasn't great, they were competitive in ways they hadn't been. Morris is doing what's necessary at a program that needs a talent infusion fast. A locker room with fifty new guys isn't inherently a disaster, it's a fresh start with players who actively chose to be there. The alternative is rolling out the same roster that wasn't getting it done. If he gets the right quarterback from the portal, which is entirely possible, the whole outlook changes instantly.
