Just read through this ESPN top 100 newcomers list and scrolled the whole thing waiting to find a Horned Frog name and you know what I saw? Nothing. Not a single one in there. And that tells me more about where this prograam is headed than any preseason magazine prediction ever could. We are not out here buying a roster like Colorado with their 43 transfers or Oklahoma State grabbing 50 guys like they are shopping at the flea market. This reminds me of those early 2000s squads under Coach Franchione where we took kids who wanted to earn something and built them into football players who actually cared about the name on the front of the jersey. The portal might be ruining college football but at least we are not selling our soul for a quick fix. Let the national media ignore us all summer. We have been overlooked before and it worked out just fine.
