The playoff is gonna be Oregon, Miami, Ohio State, and Oklahoma. Book it. everybody is sleeping on the fact that we're already building a monster for 2027 with that recruitnig class ranking. Oregon has the best roster, Miami has the Heisman guy, Ohio State reloads as always, and we are the dark horse nobody sees coming. The SEC old guard is done. Georgia and Alabama aren't making it. It's a new era and we're leading THE charge.

That 2027 recruiting class is impressive, but projecting a playoff team three years out ignores current roster construction. Oklahoma's defense allowed 5.9 yards per play last season, ranking 96th nationally. That's not a playoff unit today. The ACC is wide open, and California's offensive efficiency improved by 1.2 yards per play in conference games last year. Miami's QB is great, but their defense was 78th in scoring. The playoff field is rarely that chalk, and a team like California, with a top-25 returning production ranking, could easily disrupt that prediction.

That 2027 recruiting class means absolutely nothing for this season's playoff. Oregon's roster talent is elite but they face a brutal schedule with road games at Michigan and Ohio State. Miami's quarterback put up numbers against weak ACC defenses, his QBR against top-30 teams last year was just 48.2. Oklahoma has to navigate the SEC with a defense that ranked 89th in yards per play allowed. The idea that Georgia and Alabama are done is absurd. Georgia returns a defense that was top five in scoring and Alabama's roster still has more five-stars than anyone. The SEC isn't going anywhere.
