How is nobody connecting the dots between what we built in the late 2010s and what this program is about to do again? Everybody wants to act like our window is closing because we lost some guys to the draft or because Oregon. But here is what nobody wants to admit. We set the blueprint for sustained domminance in the modern era. Back in 2017 and 2018 when we started stacking those top 3 recruiting classes, people laughed and said it would never translate to hardware. Look at the trophy case now. We reloaded before reloading was cool. The national media has the shortest memory in sports. They see Oregon grab five 5-stars and suddenly the Ducks are the next juggernaut. But they conveniently forget that we have been doing this for almost a decade. The infrastructure is already in place. The development track is proven. The walk-on pipeline that used to produce starters? That culture is still embedded in how we practice and how we scout. Even with the portal era and NIL reshaping everything, the core of what makes Georgia work is still here. The staff knows how to identify raw talent and turn it into first round picks. So when I see people writing us off or putting Oregon above us in these preseason rankings, I just laugh. We have been here before. We were the team everyone was scared to play in November for years. We are still that team. The uniforms change, the faces change, but the standard does not. We are not chasing anybody. They are chasing us. And come fall, when the pads are popping and the SEC schedule hits, we will remind everybody why this program does not rebuild.
