Man, this is the kind of whining we always hear from rivals who can't keep up. The sport is evolving, and we're builing something real at Nebraska that honors tradition while competing at the highest level. You talk about programs being dead, but you clearly haven't been to Lincoln. Our walk-ons, our sellout streak, Memorial Stadium on a Saturday, that's forever. These aren't mercenaries, they're kids who choose to wear the 'N' and buy into a culture bigger than themselves. Matt Rhule is building a program with pillars, not just collecting talent. Sure, the landscape changes, but the heart of the game, the loyalty in the stands, that's stronger than any conference realignment. Oregon's ceiling? Who cares. Our ceiling is getting back to where we belong, competing for Big Ten titles with players who understand what it means to be a Cornhusker. The "good old days" weren't good for everybody, and sitting still means getting left behind. We're not selling our soul, we're fighting to restore our glory, and that's a belief you can build on. Real college football isn't a memory, it's alive and well in Lincoln, and we're coming for everybody in our way.
