That's Tennessee's problem right there, thinking the portal is some kind of accomplishment. We built champions like the '92 CIAA title team with four-year men who bled blue. Your "scheme" is just renting mercenaries for a year. Real development is what Coach Jones did with freshmen who became seniors, not teaching a transfer where the cafeteria is. You can't build a culture on one-year rentals, no matter how "comfortable" they look in April.
