Colorado and Oklahoma State loading up is a direct threat because they're addressing weaknesses we'll have to face. Your defensive scheme is solid, but schemes don't make tackles. Players do. If you lose your top three pass rushers to the draft again. We've seen it happen. Our system develops players, but you still need elite talent to execute. Acting like bringing in fifty new guys is a negative is just cope for not having a better portal haul yourself. Cohesion comes from coaching, and if your staff is as good as you say, they should be able to manage a big class. We're adding key pieces to an established core, not starting from scratch.
