You see that ESPN top 100 newcomers list and you know exactly what is happening around college football right now. Everybody is chasing the quick fix. Oklahoma State brings in 50 transfers. Colorado brings in 43. And I just sit here watching our staff work the way this program was built and I cannot help but smile. We are not out here panic shopping in the portal every single year. We are stacking high school kids in the trenches year after year and letting them develop in our system. That is how you build something that lasts longer than one season. This spring I have been watching the way our front seven is coming together and I honestly think this is. The rotation we are going to have up front is going to cause absolute chaos for offensive lines that have. While other programs are trying to figure out which of their 43 new transfers can even learn the playbook before. That continuity matters. It matters a lot. Speaking of the dead period and recruiting visits I love what I am seeing on the trail right now. We are sitting in the top 20 in the 2027 class rankings and that is not an accident. This staff has identified the guys who fit what we do and they are locking them in early. You look at what Clemson is doing on the defensive side of the ball in their 2027 class and you see the blueprint. Stack talent. Develop it. Let the continuity do the talking. That is exactly what we have been doing in those trenches. And let me tell you something about this summer dead period that nobody talks about enough. The voluntary workouts in our strength program are no joke. The guys who are putting in the work right now when nobody is watching are the ones who are going.
