UConn's top-40 yards per play is misleading against a schedule ranked 101st in difficulty. Their offensive numbers plummeted against any team with a pulse. Purdue's Hudson Card posted a higher QBR last season, and that was in the Big Ten, NOT the American. Development is proven against top competition, and their system hasn't shown it can produce against a Power Five defense. Their returning offensive line gave up 35 sacks last year, which is bottom-25 nationally. Continuity only matters if the unit is actually good. I'll believe it when I see it against a real opponent.
