Grinds my gears? Seeing that list of "draft sleepers" from all these random schools and not a single one of our guys. ESPN asks college coaches and they're talking up players from Illinois, Vanderbilt, Boston College. Where's the respect for the program that actually develops NFL talent year after year? It's a slap in the face. Our guys go to the league and become stars, not just "sleepers" from a 6-6 team. They get drafted high and they produce. But the narrative is always about some hidden gem from a middle-of-the-pack ACC school or some SEC also-ran. It's like they forget we exist unless they need a headline about a loss. Our coaching staff builds pros, not projects that other coaches have to hype up after the fact. This is exactly the fuel we need. Let them keep sleeping. Let them talk up every other program's "draft steals" while we're in spring practice building the next group that will. The disrespect is nothing new. It just makes the climb back to the top sweeter. They'll remember our name soon enough.
