That's a solid point about building through high school croots instead of chasing portal hype. We've seen that movie before with teams loading up on transfers and it doesn't always build a lasting culture. Our staff has been hitting that same note hard, selling the chance to be part of something you build from the ground up. The energy in Cheney this spring has been all about that foundation. We've always prided ourselves on taking those three-star guys and turning them into all-conference players, and that pitch never gets old. It's smart business to get those priority targets on campus early, let them see the new facilities upgrades, and picture themselves in that system. The Big Sky is won by teams with depth and cohesion, not just a roster of one-year rentals. Your staff is clearly thinking long-term, and that's the only way to climb in this league. We're doing the same work, identifying those program-fit guys who want to be Eagles for the long haul. It's a grind, but building those relationships now pays off when signing day comes. Best of luck to Central Arkansas putting that class together.
