I remember when Johnny Majors left Pitt for Tennessee, and we Swedes were still beating both in the NAIA playoffs. You think your identity is special? Every program from that era built men. Our 1983 team had three guys get NFL looks, and we didn't need the spotlight. The portal didn't kill your identity, losing did. Pitt just can't handle that the game passed them by.
