This isn't new, son. Bear Bryant had quarterback controversies every other year. What's new is the lack of patience. We built quarterbacks over time, like we did with our '89 conference champion squad. You don't develop an arm in a spring game, you develop it in the film room over years. This portal panic is why teams have no identity anymore. everybody's just renting a player for a season.
