Oh come on, you're really using one ESPN article to try and tear down the entire SEC? That's weak. We all know the SEC is the gold standard, and it's not even close. The draft is just one piece of the puzzle, and year-to-year numbers fluctuate, but the national championship trophies don't lie. Who's been holding that trophy most of the last two decades? SEC teams. The week-in, week-out competition in our conference is brutal, and it prepares guys for the NFL like no other league can. The Big Ten and ACC have some great individual players, sure. You think those NFL scouts are just ignoring that? They see the speed and physicality our guys face every single Saturday. That article is a snapshot, but the body of work speaks for itself. The reputation is earned every season, not a decade ago. Go ask any coach in the country which conference they'd least want to play a schedule in, and the answer is unanimous. We breed champions, and that's a fact.
