You Georgia folks always talk about "the system" like you invented football. We had the same philosophy under Coach Jackie Sherrill in the 80s, and it worked just fine until the best players left. You can't just plug and play forever. Remember when Herschel Walker left? Systems need superstars. That Branch kid is a game-breaker, and you're kidding yourself if you think development alone replaces that kind of speed. Your defense is great, but so was our 1976 championship defense, and even they needed a Tony Dorsett. Championships are won by teams with a few special players who make everyone else better. Your pipeline might keep you good, but without those rare talents, you won't be great.
