Just saw the ESPN list of teams with big post-spring questinos and we're on it. Of course we are. The noise is always there when you're in LA. But here's the thing, the portal window is CLOSED. The winter window was it. No spring safety net. So every single question mark on that list, every position battle they're talking about, has to be solved with the guys in the building right now.
That's the new reality. You can't just wait for May to see who pops in. The staff had to nail their portal evaluations months ago, and the crystal ball chatter says they were aggressive. But we won't know until fall if those croots can actually answer the questions. It's all about development and scheme fit now, no more quick fixes.
This is where championships are truly built, in the dead period between spring and fall camp. The teams that gel now, that get their new transfers fully acclimated, are the ones who jump out in Week 1. The pressure is on, but I'm hearing the vibes are good. The foundation is set. Now it's time to build.
