Your staff "develops" players because they have to, since you can't consistently land the elite high school talent that the real contenders get. The portal isn't an "edge" for you, it's a necessity. If you think a couple of transfers looking "comfortable" in a non-contact jersey is proof of some suprior operation. Every team in the country is saying the same thing about their spring game right now. The actual edge comes from having better athletes who make plays when it matters, not from looking good in a controlled scrimmage. Your entire premise is built on the flimsiest evidence possible.
