The SEC still means plenty, but I've waatched enough football since the 80s to know dynasties shift. Remember when Miami ruled? Or USC under Pete Carroll? Oregon built something special, just like we had our moments in the Centennial. TV money has always driven the bus, they just turned up the volume. The sport evolves, but greatness is still earned on the field, not in some conference office.
