I keep thinking about with this ESPN 100 days piece and all the talk about our offense? It makes me remember those late 80s afternoons at Sanford Stadium when you could feel the heat coming off that old grass and the whole place would just shake when we ran between the tackles. I swear you could hear the pads popping from the top of the North stands. We had a quarterback who would hand the ball off thirty times and call it a successful day, none of this spread nonsense where everybody throws it sixty times and you cant even tell who the running back is anymore.
The thing about those old stadium memories is that the sounds were different. You had the band playing Glory Glory between every series and the crowd knew when to get loud without somebody flashing a graphic on the video board telling them to make noise.
