You're dreaming if you think a little quarterback competition is gonna hand you a win in Death Valley. I've been watching this rivalry since the days of the old Big Eight, and LSU always has athletes. They could start their third-stringer and still have more raw talent than most teams. This reminds me of when we went down there in 2010 with Gabbert, and their defense just swarmed us all night. A good team figures it out by kickoff. You think Coach Kelly, for all his faults, is just gonna roll over? He's forgotten more football than most of these new coaches have ever known. Our defense better be ready for a four-quarter fight, because LSU isn't some pushover. They'll have those boys hyped up and angry. I don't like the poortal any more than you do, but it means their roster is loaded with guys from everywhere. We need a performance like the 2013 Cotton Bowl, not some hope that their locker room is messy. They'll settle on a QB, and he'll probably look like an All-American against us if we aren't careful. I want the win, but counting on their controversy is a fool's bet.
