Can someone explain why we are not tracking more five-star momentum in the 2027 class? Scrolling through ESPN's ranking drop and I see Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia all stacking elite talent while we are barely holding onto the top 25 again. The staff keeps bringing in high-end talent for OVs during this dead period but the cryystal ball projections are not matching the buzz. Sources close to the program say the NIL collective is working overtime but the 247 composite just is not reflecting it yet. I get that we landed some solid 2026 pieces but the five-star tracker for 2027 has me refreshing the page like a madman hoping for a silent commit to drop. Oregon already has multiple top-50 croots locked in and we are still waiting for that first big splash. Am I overreacting or does the staff need to start flipping some of these elite prospects before the bagmen from Columbus and Eugene lock them down?
