You watch this Pac-12 thing they just announced with Mountain West teams and I cannot wrap my head around it. That conference used to have Washington and USC and UCLA and the Rose Bowl meant something real. Now it is Boise State and Colorado State pretending to be a legaue. Reminds me of 1992 when the SEC finally expanded and we got Arkansas and South Carolina and everybody thought the world was ending. At least that made sense geographically. This is just accountants moving logos around on a spreadsheet. NIL killed the soul of this sport and conference realignment buried whatever was left. Give me the old days when Georgia played Auburn on the last Saturday of October and the whole state of Alabama stopped breathing for three hours. That was real football. Not this glorified AAU nonsense they are selling us now.
