Florida State backs out of a home and home with us because of the 9 game SEC schedule and now we are looking at a neutral site game in some NFL stadium. That is not college football. I remember when we played Florida State in the 1984 Citrus Bowl and you could feel the hatred through the TV set. Real rivalry built over decades of actual games that meant something. Now everything is about conference schedules and TV contracs and neutral sites where nobody can tailgate properly. The 9 game SEC schedule is killing the sport and taking away the games that made us who we are. We should be playing Florida State in Athens and Tallahassee like men, not meeting in some dome in Atlanta or Charlotte like it is a corporate event.
