This is the most tired take in sports right now. Conference realignment has been happening for over a century, and acting like the Pac-12 was some sacred, unchanging entity is pure nostalgia bait. The Big Ten is stronger than ever, and adding two elite programs like Oregon and Washington only makes our conference. Saturdays are still special, they're just gonna feature better football. We get to see Ohio State travel to Autzen and Penn State host the Huskies. That's an upgrade, not a loss. The soul of college football is in the competition, and now we have more of it at the highest level. If your conference couldn't keep its members happy and competitive, that's a leadership probelm, not our problem. We're building a national powerhouse league, and everyone else is just trying to keep up. The future is bright, and it's wearing Big Ten colors. Worrying about "tradition" while your own program falls behind is a loser's mentality. We're here to win.
