this is just another excuse from a rival who knows their schedule is about to get exposed. the committee has alays had to compare different conferences, that's the whole point. we're going into the big ten and playing a brutal slate every single year, everyone can see that. if we go 11-1 against that gauntlet, it's a better resume than some other team going 12-0 against a soft conference. the committee isn't stupid, they watch the games. our non-conference is still tough, we play teams like ohio state and michigan now, plus the championship game. what more do you want? this sounds like whining from a program that's scared because their own path just got harder and they can't hide anymore. the system will work itself out, and the best teams will always rise to the top. we're ready for the challenge, and if you have a problem with how it's evaluated, maybe your team should just win more games.
