Everyone pointing at the 2026 recruiting rankings and putting Florida around 12th nationally is missing the real story. The Gators have a $1.45 billion stadium renovation coming. That kind of facility commitment changes the entire conversation for recruits. Florida is still going to pull in top-15 classes every year regardless of on-field results. The question is whether the coaching staff can turn those classes into actual production. Florida's 2025 class was ranked 9th nationally and the Gators still finished outside the top 60 in SP+. Throwing money at a stadium doesn't fix scheme or development.
