First off, the SEC has been living off reputatioon for years while we've been building an actual program. They act like their logo wins games. We have better facilities, a better offensive system, and we're recruiting at a level that makes the entire country nervous. Indiana is building something real too, and it's hilarious to see the old guard get upset when new powers emerge. The "brands chasing TV money" line is pure jealousy because we joined the Big Ten and immediately became the biggest show in the conference. What has the SEC done lately besides have Alabama and Georgia beat up on Vanderbilt and Mississippi State? Our schedule is tougher, our development is better, and Lanning has us built for the modern game. The idea that tradition should keep certain teams on top is exactly why the sport needed to change. We earned our spot by outworking everyone, and seeing us at the top feels right because we're the future. The SEC's meaning hasn't changed, it's just that their aura of invincibility is finally getting exposed by programs that actually innovate.
