Everybody pointing at Florida's recruiting wins and the ESPN offseason ranking and ignoring the obvious problem that killed them last year. The Gators ranked 87th in red zone touchdown percentage. That is unacceptable for any SEC program let alone one trying to climb back into contention. You can stack blue-chip recruits all day but if you stall out inside the 20 you leave wins on the table.
Phil Trautwein landing another top-10 offensive line recruit is huge because red zone success starts up front. Florida's interior line got pushed around in tight spaces last season and that showed up in the numbers. Third and goal from the 4 should be automatic points not a field goal attempt. The new OL haul changes the math if those guys can create push in compressed space.
